Multi-Platinum Singer-Songwriter Cody Jinks will Perform at INTRUST Bank Arena on November 23
Wichita, Kansas – Multi-platinum country singer-songwriter Cody Jinks will perform at INTRUST Bank Arena on Saturday, November 23. Tickets go on sale Friday, August 30 and can be purchased online at selectaseat.com.
The performance celebrates the recent announce of his new project, Backside of 30, a re-release of Jinks’ classic 2012 album, 30, which will be out September 27 via Late August Records (pre-order/pre-save here). The release represents a reflection of his life and career over the past twelve years. Remastered by Adam Grover and remixed by Nick Choate the project was originally recorded at Rosewood Studios in Tyler, TX and Blue Smoke Studios in Ft. Worth, TX, and encapsulates his Texas roots and highlights his signature southern sound. On the album are the ten original tracks as well as new song, “When The New Wears Off.” The song, produced by Ryan Hewitt and Joshua Thompson, is a heartfelt anthem about everlasting and unconditional love that bridges together the prolific eras of his songwriting.
The release follows his most recent album, Change The Game, which debuted earlier this year to critical acclaim. Produced by Ryan Hewitt (Red Hot Chili Peppers, ZZ Top) and Jinks’ longtime bassist, Joshua Thompson, the album marked a new chapter for Jinks both personally and professionally, as he is now self-managed with a completely independent team. Of the album, Billboard praises, “glories in the enlightenment-seeking rebel journeys of the free spirits,” and American Songwriter declares, “this most introspective of his works might also be his finest collection yet,” while Holler proclaims, “finds the reigning champ of modern outlaw country delivering his most mature album yet.”
