ASM Global Announces New Hire and Promotion at INTRUST Bank Arena

The ASM Global-managed INTRUST Bank Arena is excited to announce a new hire and a promotion within the Marketing and Event Services departments.
 
Bethany Chegwidden joined the Marketing Department as the Marketing and Group Sales Coordinator this past October. She graduated from Kansas State University in May with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with an organizational track and a minor in Music. Bethany’s responsibilities as the new Marketing and Group Sales Coordinator will include leading the group sales efforts for all arena events, developing and delivering email marketing campaigns and managing the marketing internship program. Previously, Chegwidden worked at Music Theater Wichita as the Patron Services Liaison.

The Events Services Department has promoted Shawn McGuire to Security Supervisor. Prior to this promotion, Shawn served as one of the Arena’s Security Officers. McGuire has been within the Events Services Department since April 2015. Safety and security are a top priority at INTRUST Bank Arena and the role of all security staff is to ensure the safety of patrons, staff, vendors and any other personnel on arena property. In his new role, he will continue the duties of the daily operations of the Security Department as well as work on scheduling and event coverage while on second and third shift.
