INTRUST Bank Arena Annoucnes Winning Teams and Charities From DodgeBrawl 2017
SMG and INTRUST Bank Arena are pleased to announce results of DodgeBrawl 2017. The second year event, which was held today, Saturday, July 8, 2017 at INTRUST Bank Arena, featured 45 teams playing for the chance to win money for the charity/non-profit of their choice, an exciting increase from the 23 teams the tournament hosted in 2016. Each winning team’s selected charity/non-profit will receive a financial donation on behalf of the tournament.
INTRUST Bank Arena is proud to announce the winning teams and designated charities from today’s second annual DodgeBrawl event. Team “Spandex Ball Squad” took third place. Spandex Ball Squad was playing for Midian Shrine Plane of Mercy and we’re pleased to donate $500 to Midian Shrine Plane of Mercy on their behalf. Team “Enterprise” took second place. Enterprise was playing for Greater YMCA of Wichita and we’re pleased to donate $750 to Greater YMCA of Wichita on their behalf. Team “Sexy Time” took first place. Sexy Time was playing for Kansas Humane Society and we’re pleased to donate $1,000 to Kansas Humane Society on their behalf. In addition to the charitable donations, each of the top 3 teams received tickets in a luxury suite for a Wichita Thunder or Wichita Force game during their upcoming seasons.
The participating teams also vied for two awards at the event: Best Dressed Team and Best Team Name. The award for Best Dressed Team went to the Shenanigators and the award for Best Team Name went to Daj Maballs. Both teams took home a prize pack consisting of a a party for 10 people at The Alley including 2 hours of unlimited go karts and bowling, and cases of Mt. Dew KickStart, courtesy of Pepsi.
