INTRUST Bank Arena Ranked as 47th Busiest Arena in the U.S. in Year-End Rankings
(Wichita, Kan.) – The SMG-managed INTRUST Bank Arena finished as the 47th busiest arena in the United States and 89th in the world in Pollstar Magazine’s 2016 Year-End Top 200 Arena Rankings. Rankings are based on tickets sold worldwide for shows played between 1/1/16 and 12/31/16. INTRUST Bank Arena was also the sixth highest ranked arena in the continental United States managed by SMG, the Philadelphia-based venue operator that manages more than 240 facilities, nearly 70 arenas and over 1.75 million seats worldwide.
Additionally, INTRUST Bank Arena hosted 15 of the Top 100 Tours in 2016, including Shinedown & Five Finger Death Punch, Blake Shelton, I Love The 90’s, Brad Paisley, Jeff Dunham, Journey and The Doobie Brothers, Winter Jam, Harlem Globetrotters, Zac Brown Band, Dave Matthews Band, Carrie Underwood, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, WWE, Luke Bryan and Disney On Ice.

Several exciting and big name acts have already been announced for 2017, including Red Hot Chili Peppers who will take the stage this Sunday, Jan. 15 to a nearly sold out crowd and Twenty-One Pilots who will make their first appearance at INTRUST Bank Arena on Feb. 3 to a completely sold out crowd.
