INTRUST Bank Arena Announces Winning Teams and Charities from DodgeBrawl 2016

(Wichita, Kan.) – SMG and INTRUST Bank Arena are pleased to announce results of DodgeBrawl 2016. The first year event, which was held today, Saturday, July 16, 2016 at INTRUST Bank Arena, featured 27 teams playing for the chance to win money for the charity/non-profit of their choice. Each winning team’s selected charity/non-profit will receive a financial donation on behalf of the tournament.

INTRUST Bank Arena is proud to announce the winning teams and designated charities from today’s inaugural DodgeBrawl event. Team “Ginger Lives Matter” took third place. Ginger Lives Matter was playing for Salvation Army and we’re pleased to donate $500 to Salvation Army on their behalf.  Team “Free Ballers” took second place. Free Ballers was playing for Wichita Children’s Home and we’re pleased to donate $750 to Wichita Children’s Home on their behalf. Team “Spandex Ball Squad” took first place. Spandex Ball Squad was playing for Kansas Humane Society and we’re pleased to donate $1,000 to Kansas Humane Society on their behalf.

The participating teams also vied for two awards at the event: Best Dressed Team and Best Team Name. The award for Best Dressed Team went to “Test Eagles” and the award for Best Team Name went to “Our Balls Your Face.” Both teams took home a prize pack consisting of a Luxury Suite to a Wichita Thunder or Wichita Force game of their choice next season at INTRUST Bank Arena, a party for 10 people at The Alley including 2 hours of unlimited go karts and bowling, and several cases of Mt. Dew KickStart.
