Christine Pileckas Honored By Young Professionals of Wichita
(Wichita, Kan.) – INTRUST Bank Arena is proud to announce that the Young Professionals of Wichita (YPW) has named Christine Pileckas, SMG Director of Sales & Marketing, Volunteer of the Year for the Pulse Action Team. The award is based on contributions from July 2014-June 2015. The action team chair selects finalists and action team members then vote on the winner.
“Christine has been a valuable member of the Pulse team for several years,” said Suzy Finn, YPW Executive Director. “She has helped connect us to great events at the arena and throughout the community, provides valuable marketing ideas, and encourages others to attend our social events. The team recognized this by voting her their 2015 volunteer of the year.”
Throughout the past year, Pileckas has planned and promoted numerous YPW events including a Wichita Thunder UltraMingle, Wichita Force Football UltraMingle, Wichita Riverfest YPW Balcony Bash and more. Pileckas made each event unique and memorable through incorporating exclusive elements for YPW’s such as meet & greet opportunities, backstage tours, private rooms to mingle and unique giveaways for attendees.
“Since joining our team in 2010, Christine has shown a passion for being involved in the Wichita community. On behalf of SMG and our INTRUST Bank Arena team we are very proud of Christine for being recognized by YPW for the Volunteer of the Year for the Pulse Action Team,” said AJ Boleski, INTRUST Bank Arena General Manager.
In 2015, YPW is celebrating ten years of uniting young professionals in Wichita. YPW is also celebrating 5 years of recognizing the outstanding accomplishments of its members, investors, and excellent companies in the community.
“I’m humbled to be recognized by the YPW Pulse Action Team and the Young Professionals of Wichita,” said Pileckas. “Joining YPW was one of the first things I did when I relocated to Wichita nearly five years ago and I’m proud to be a part of an organization that devotes all of its time and energy to bringing together a diverse group of young professionals through unique programming and events.”
